Safety Committee
Building relationships for a safer community

The Pleasant Ridge safety committee engages neighbors, businesses, Cincinnati Police District 2, and Cincinnati Fire Engine 8. They help build trust to create a healthy relationship with the neighborhood, City leadership, and law enforcement. The safety committee supports Gateway Block Watches, Citizens on Patrol, and advocates for empathetic policing and justice.
Safety Committee meets the second Monday of each month.

The Cincinnati Police Department has launched a Real-Time Crime Center platform to enhance community safety. This system allows residents to voluntarily register security cameras and help local law enforcement quickly identify potential video evidence during investigations. Registered camera locations remain confidential and footage is only used during active criminal investigations. Residents and businesses can consider joining this safety-driven effort.
