Beautification – Be a part of one good looking team! Help with streetscape design, rain gardens and various other projects promoting “going green”. Plan Earth Day events and American Clean-up days as well as other environmentally conscience events throughout the year. info@pleasantridge.org
Citizens on Patrol – Help keep our neighborhood safe! Be a visible presence of safety to our community which helps keep our neighbors safe and crime rate low. Safety – What a wonderful way to commit to keeping the neighborhood you chose to live in safe! Help streets organize block watches and help promote safety awareness through promotions and events. Contact Don Trummel:dtrummel@fuse.net
Street Captain – Be that “friendly face” for new residents on your street! Organize contact lists to help keep your neighbors up to date, help pass out the Informant (community paper) to your street. Business - Help create partnerships between the business community and the residents of Pleasant Ridge and beyond. District A - Where arts and community meet. This is a Pleasant Ridge and Kennedy Heights collaboration for regional community development with arts at the core. District A connects local arts, business and community assets to stimulate and sustain community vitality and economic growth beyond neighborhood boundaries.
