Hooray for spring!  Butterfly stories and craft.  Get in the spring spirit by making a butterfly craft to take home and make another to go on display at Krohn Conservatory!  For ages 3-9.  Registration requested.

Tuesday, April 8, 10:30 a.m. 
Toddler movers & shakers: Bouncing bunnies!  For ages 18-36 months.

Wednesday, April 9, 10:30 a.m. 
Preschool storytime & craft: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: butterflies and bugs!  For ages 3-6.

Wednesday, April 9, 4:00 p.m. 
After school art class with Miss Pam, from the KennedyHeightsArtsCenter.  For ages 5-12.  Registration requested.

Friday, April 11, 5:30-8:00 p.m. 
Sneak peak happy hour, to raise funds for the Library Committee of the Pleasant Ridge Community Council, at Emanu East African restaurant.  $15 for two drink tickets and appetizers, no reservation needed.

Saturday, April 12, 10:30 a.m. 
Baby massage, with Michelle Emanuel.  For ages newborn through 18 months.  Registration requested.  (Program repeats for toddlers on the following Saturday)

Happy Hour Fundraiser for the Library

EMANU Event for the benefit of the Pleasant Ridge Library Project has now been rescheduled.

                                 New Date:Friday, April 11th

                                 Time: 5:30 to 8:00PM 

The event sponsored by the PRCC Library Committee offers a great opportunity to check the Ridge's newest restaurant while supporting the Library renovation project.  The cost of admission (at the door) will be $15 per person and includes two drink tickets and appetizers.  No reservations necessary.  Thank you EMANU for supporting our community and welcome to our neighborhood.

4) Pleasant Ridge Community Council (PRCC)

PRCC meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Pleasant Ridge Recreation Center. The purpose of the meetings is to provide updates about community issues and discuss items that affect the entire neighborhood.

Next monthly meeting will be Tuesday, May 6 at 7pm

Volunteer opportunities

The safety committee meets on the 3rd Tuesday each month at the Recreation Center. Contact Andy Powell for more info: andrew.powell@ge.com

SUMMER ARTS CAMPS AT KHAC

KHAC SUMMER CAMPS

KHAC is expanding its summer programming for area youth. Our 3rd annual Summer Arts Camp for 10-13 year olds will return, a four-week concentrated arts experience in photography, writing, visual arts, video, dance and music. The camp will meet from June 9 - July 3 at the Arts Center from 9:30-2:30, Mondays through Fridays. Also, new this year -- Arts camps for youth ages 5-9! Two one-week camps focusing on visual arts, theatre and story telling will take place in July 7-11 and 14-18. Please call 631-4278 for more information.
