We are embarking on a grassroots, volunteer-led initiative under the Pleasant Ridge Community Council to formulate a strong Business Delegation Committee.
We are looking for residents who could commit to monthly meetings and business delegation initiatives. While the time commitment is minimal, the effects of your time could be monumental in creating a more thriving business district and community as a whole.

Our mission is to help existing businesses thrive and attract new businesses to our neighborhood. This support will help our businesses succeed and increase their visibility in our neighborhood and throughout Cincinnati. By accomplishing this goal, we will be able to attract new businesses that will make the Ridge a more sustainable community.  Some more specific initiatives include:

  • Increase visibility of our businesses through multiple marketing channels
  • Develop a Pleasant Ridge Chamber of Commerce to spur communication between local businesses and create a supportive network for them
  • Fundraise money for this subcommittee
  • Maintain the business relationships we already have fostered here and create an environment for new businesses to locate in Pleasant Ridge.
  • Form a marketing/branding campaign for Pleasant Ridge
  • Create a contact list that would be useful for new businesses locating in PR and post it on our website (contacts for building inspectors, city agencies, etc...)

When: Tuesday, October 14; from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Where: The Pea Pod Cafe (6227 Montgomery Road).
Why: Learn the basic goals of this subcommittee and answer any questions about roles you could play so you can help our community succeed.
